General Admission with free daily interactive tour
We have three interactive daily tours at 11.00 am, 1.00pm, 3.00pm included in your entry fee. These interactive tours include making friends with a wombat and meeting a Tasmanian devil. This 45 minute interaction also includes viewing the dynamic Tasmanian devil social feeding.
We do not require prior booking for the interactive tours.

VIP Tours
This premium offering is a private, fully customisable experience for 1 or 2 hours with your own dedicated guide. You can tailor your tour to focus on whichever animals you are most interested in, allowing for a truly personalised wildlife encounter.
The experience provides a greater overall understanding of the Sanctuary and the important conservation programs we are working to achieve. This intimate, up-close encounter with our wildlife is ideal for animal lovers who want something beyond a general tour.

Gather your group of 10 or more adults and step into an exclusive, behind-the-scenes experience at Trowunna! These private tours run for 30 minutes and are led by one of our passionate and knowledgeable keepers, who will share the stories, personalities, and conservation efforts behind Tasmania’s incredible wildlife.
Enjoy a more personal, up-close encounter while learning fascinating insights you won’t hear on a general visit. Tour operators and guides can also take advantage of special group booking rates.

Trowunna Experience
Go beyond a traditional wildlife encounter and step behind the scenes of one of Tasmania’s leading conservation sanctuaries. The Trowunna Experience is a unique half-day program that combines unforgettable up-close animal encounters with the opportunity to work alongside our keepers and experience the day-to-day responsibilities involved in caring for Tasmania’s native wildlife.
Spend part of your time meeting and interacting with a variety of resident animals, while the other half is dedicated to hands-on keeper activities such as preparing food, assisting with habitat maintenance, learning about conservation breeding programs, and helping care for the animals that call Trowunna home.
Designed to provide a genuine insight into life at a working wildlife sanctuary, this experience offers a deeper understanding of the dedication, knowledge, and passion required to protect Tasmania’s unique species. Activities can be tailored to suit individual interests, making every experience unique.
