Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary has a long history of supporting film and television productions, providing stunning visuals of Tasmania’s lush forests and native wildlife. Our Location Scout/Assistant has over 40 years of experience in helping productions find the perfect shots and locations. Just tell us what you need — we’ll make it happen, or advise if it isn’t possible.

Many of our clients have received awards for their work filmed at Trowunna, including NHNZ’s The Devil's Playground and The Case of the Baby-Faced Assassin. Other notable productions include Living Edens: Tasmania and Devil Diary. Most recently, we assisted the makers of The Hunter.
