Trowunna Receives Recognition of Contribution to Devil Conservation

Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary is honored to receive recognition of its significant contribution to Tasmanian Devil in situ conservation projects under the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program, awarded to the Sanctuary at last week's Zoo Aquarium Association (ZAA) Biennial Conference in Perth.

With its devil conservation breeding program spanning over 30 years, and 16 generations of Devils, Trowunna is the only facility to have been involved in all three Devil release programs (Maria Island, Narawntapu Nat.Pk and Tasman Peninsula).
